Keeps things fresh

| I purchased this because we often have batter of some type left over and this storage container eliminates the saran wrap method my fiance was using previously. This container works for my use so I give it a 5. It is awfully big however; I should have got the smaller one instead. Batter for 2 doesn't fill up the container, and after we make 2 waffles, the container is only about 1/4 full so there is a lot of wasted space. It took me minute to figure out how to put the red top on. |
Great Batter Bowl

| I bought one of these recently and I really like it. I grew up with my mother's Tupperware so I do have several pieces, old and new, in my kitchen. But this is what I find myself using for mixing anything like cake batter or quick breads. The sides are straight so the bottom is wider. There is a removable rubber ring on the bottom so it doesn't slide across the counter while you're stirring the batter. The handle is great...large enough for the biggest hands...and it feels very sturdy when you're pouring. Although I have yet to store any left over batter (I haven't had any yet) the lid makes that easy, too. This is by far one of the best batter bowls I've ever used. And if it gets dropped, it won't break. |
I use this way more than I thought I would

I am so glad i have this. I have never used it for pancakes, but it is used for a ton of other things. I use it as a pitcher to walk around and water my plants, I have mixed and stored guacamole in it, I have stored leftover soup in it, etc...
I also catch myself grabbing for this when mixing cakes or muffins too. I love mine! |
